People pleaser: The Azure Waterfront Apartment
An elegant new low rise luxury at Rhodes has had no trouble generating buyer interest.
Azure Waterfront will be comprised of 169 apartments within four buildings positioned around a courtyard. The first release took place late last year, following strong interest in the development, which will include studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments and townhouses.
The Bridgehill Developments project has been designed by SJB Architects. CBRE is selling the apartments on behalf of the developer, with CBRE project manager David Lee saying he sees the main features as the quality and size of the apartments.
” There are one-bedrooms that are internally 67sq m, two-bedrooms that are over 100sqm, and there are three bedrooms over 137sqm,” he says
David says the apartments’ standard features are luxurious. They include timber floorboards, ducted air-conditioning, top standard stainless-steel appliances and 40mm stone benchtops.
He says most apartments will have excellent views with many overlooking Parramatta River. ”
There is one building that is four storeys that is on the water, he says. ” Then there’ s another building on Shoreline Drive, that is seven storeys.”
The remaining two buildings will be smaller, at three storeys each.
David believes there is definitely a market for apartment in low-rise buildings at Rhodes, which is part of the reason for the good early response.
Azure Waterfront apartment will not have extras such as a pool or gym, which should keep strata levies reasonable.
Furthermore, David points out there is aplenty of infrastructure nearby, including Olympic Park, Rhodes Shopping Centre and Rhodes station.
Construction started in early 2011 and is due to be completed in September/October this year.
